Electric Power Equipment
was established in 1923 in
British Columbia, Canada,
and its principal activities have continued to be electrical engineering and
manufacturing. Our Head Office is located in Vancouver, BC. In the 1950's,
additional factories, engineering and sales offices, were opened in Edmonton,
Alberta.
We've always responded to our customer's requirements for unique solutions to electrical metal product requirements for products such as multi-section wire-ways, custom outdoor power centres, and others.
The supply of variable-speed drives for special applications such as ski lifts, plus wire-drawing machines, and others, has been one of our specialties. We've engineered and constructed skid-mounted load centres employing vacuum circuit breakers, load interrupters, and vacuum contactors.
The
ELECTRICAL METAL PRODUCTS Division ( EMP
) was formed to specialize in design
and manufacture of electrical metal products. EMP is oriented
toward specialty metal enclosure requirements for numerous industrial and
commercial electrical products and systems. We employ experienced engineers and
technical support specialists to provide clients with custom metal
products and services.
